Hey, if we’re talking food, I love liver and onions, anchovies on pizza, and anything with cabbage (especially stuffed cabbage). And sometimes I get a fever and the only cure is about $10 worth of Taco Bell food!
Since the banning of Zenster, I believe I’m the sole remaining fan of peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches. A lonely journey, this.
Spam!!! (the “meat”, not the email.)
I love that stuff. And now that they make Spam Singles… Yeah, Baby!!
I love custard pie. People make fun of me because of this. I had a birthday party, and there were 10 people there, and every single one of them made a face when I told them my all-time favorite pie was custard.
More for me, baby!!
Chefguy, feel lonely no longer. It is one of my long lost favorites. My dad and I used to make them together for lunch when I was little.
Lima beans. I like lima beans. I know everyone else in my family hates them. I know Bart Simpson spoke for a lot of people on the subject when he declared them “gross.” I know in terms of vegetable popularity, they rank somewhere above brussel sprouts and below kale but I’ve always liked them ever since I saw my first one floating in a bowl of Campbell’s Vegetarian Vegetable Soup (which is likely another culinary guilty pleasure for some people).
I’m a 30 something straight, married, white guy from the midwest and I love, love electronica music from Europe.
My current rotation of CDs include Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and Fatboy Slims newest albums.
This is one of the cases where most of the big fans of the album didn’t like it (or so I thought).
For most bands that has a popular song, most of their bigger fans won’t like it.
Hey, man, don’t be bringing that stuff in here. I said in the OP to start a thread about being the only one to not like something.
Hey, I have a friend like that.
You’re in Minneapolis? I don’t know you, do I?
I love KoRn. I think Jonathan Davis is insanely talented. I was sad when Head left, but wish the best for him. Poor, poor Head. While this may not be an unpopular opinion among 15-year-olds in 1995, most Dopers don’t seem to appreciate them. Oh well.
Btw, Hampshire, have you ever heard the Spawn soundtrack? It’s composed entirely of collaborations between electronica artists and heavy metal bands. It’s awesome, much better than the crappy movie. Prodigy/Tom Morello, Sneaker Pimps/Marilyn Manson, DJ Greyboy/Incubus, oh and Dust Brothers/KoRn.
Am I the only teenager around who actually likes all three Matrix movies? All my friends love the first one, but they hate the other two and I’m the only who likes all three.
'Tis a lonely journey for sure, Chefguy. Except it’s not so lonely for you, anymore. :dubious:
I’m a fan of certain forms of cheap food - a pool near where I used to live sold these microwaved, frozen pizza rectangles - and I loved those. I also like cheap-tasting spaghetti sauce.
I know I’m not the only one, but I love the movie Hudson Hawk.
[sub]I like Charmed[/sub]
Imagine that. I MAKE a wickedly awesome custard pie. People that know me just don’t picture me as the pie-baking sort (I make my own crust and everything), but I get an urge to make pies ever so often. And I also make custards without the pie, FWIW.
To the best of my knowledge. my wife and I were the only two people in America watching “life as we know it” this year. We were both quite saddened to see it go.
I used to think I was the only one who liked Air Supply, but then I met lel.
When it comes to hot dogs, the cheaper, the better.
I can’t stand Oscar Meyer and Ball Park is all right, but for a truly great hot dog, it’s generic all the way.
I guess I have a thing for pig anus and donkey lips.
And Lou, I also loved cabbage. I like it stuffed, boiled or fried.
And NDP, I like lima beans, but only in soup or mixed veggies. They just don’t do well all by themselves.
Wait, what? People don’t like that movie? But it has Winona Ryder in it!
I like Veronica Mars, even though none of my middle-aged friends have ever heard of it.
I like the first Tomb Raider movie.
I like listening to Enya.
I like Disney’s animated Hunchback of Notre Dame.
I like Cherry Coke.
RealityChuck - Kak I’m not familiar with, but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of Emitt Rhodes. I’m not sure how I’ve heard of him, since according to AllMusic his last album was released before I was born, but the name is really familiar.
And while I’m here, I’d just like to say that I own the album Ringo by Ringo Starr. And I love it. And I’m not ashamed.
