Maybe he means you can either be heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual with nothing inbetween? Not that I agree with that either.

I could never go out with a woman who has a more manly jawline than myself. :wink: Besides I’d be scared of Samara* and consider a person somewhat suspect who lives their life by a rigid ‘Code’ with no real possibility for personal decision making and autonomy no matter how noble and righteous her lifestyle seems to be.

But she was another interesting and three-dimensional character in an interesting game. Thanks for the info re the motion-capture!

*I’d be worried that I’d accidently offend her sensibilities by using the wrong fork at lunch or something then she’d regrettably have no option but to kill me.

Well, I slightly misread your post - i thought you were saying that if you find someone of the same gender attractive, there’s no way you can be heterosexual at all. I missed the “100%” qualifier.

Wow, missed most of the sentence then! Was making me think maybe I was running into a wall of Identity Politics or something.

And I’ll be the first to admit here; I do find a small number of men attractive and have to say that I’m probably about 85-90% hetero. But I’m almost 0% Robosexual. I just don’t grok the attraction there.

Thank goodness. I was starting to feel a good bisexual erasure rant coming on. :stuck_out_tongue: Sexuality is far more complicated than the commonplace view of merely gay or straight, forever and unchanging, and may never the twain meet.

Just to defend my specific level of incompetence, but I only missed the “100%” part of your sentence, not “most” of it. I read:

“If there is someone, anyone of the same sex that you would consider going for, then you are not 100% heterosexual.”

As:

“If there is someone, anyone of the same sex that you would consider going for, then you are not heterosexual.”

Which is not a terribly uncommon argument, and one that I’m kind of sick of. But also, of course, not what you were saying at all.

I can’t think of any woman I would want to try hetero sex with. Beautiful women are nice to look at and all, but I can’t recall ever feeling sexual arousal because of one.

For Miranda at least, they used her voice actor as the model for the character. Probably a strong Seth Green influence in Joker, as well.

Oh, and, 100% straight here, as near as I can tell. I took the Kinsey test and got a negative number.

I’m a perfect Kinsey 6.0, and have never felt any sexual attraction to a woman. I can certainly be attracted to one esthetically, but that’s not the same thing.

I’m already on the record as saying that if I had the slightest homosexual tendencies Neil Patrick Harris would have a restraining order out on me by now. The dude sings, dances, acts, does comedy, does magic, does freaking acrobatics, looks startlingly dapper in a suit, was **Dr. Horrible **fercrisssake and posts adorable family photos every Halloween - what’s not to love about the guy?

But while my head thinks he’s dreamy, the rest of my body is distinctly uninterested. So he remains unstalked (at least by me).

Ok - well I am totally straight, but while watching the HBO Series “Rome” I could see the attraction to:
