I don’t like the way Bent and Hatie always say “the lesbians.” They don’t even have names, like people do.
Even Jet and Cord, two cowboys from Oklahoma always say Brandy and Carol. They can figure out referring to people as “the blacks” or “the lesbians” is rude and a sure sign you’re probably as close-minded and bigoted as you sound.
Then Hatie is in confessional whining about “the lesbians” teasing her about her tiara and how they have no reason to say anything because she’s like, only been in a couple pageants and while she’s saying it she’s got a sparkly tiara er… headband on. Right.
I’ll be very disappointed if they win.
I’m all for either a Dan/Jordan or Jet/Cord win.
Those ice-cream sandwiches looked awesome. I’d have preferred the waffle over the bread. It looked like everyone liked the waffle and it ran out. I’d take the bread one though!
I object to the models’ refusal to grant Brandy and Carol any other status. You’ll notice the cowboys’ occupations are “bullrider” and “cowboy.” The models are in fact, models. I don’t see “lesbian” under occupation for B & C. In fact, under things people would be surprised to learn about Brandy is she’s bisexual.
It doesn’t matter if she identifies as bisexual. The team nickname of “The Lesbians” identifies their relationship with each other. Just like “The Brothers.” It’s not like you see “brother” under occupation for Dan and Jordan, do you?
