I know the episode was a parody of Desprate Housewives, but, since I’ve never watched that show (and you can’t make me, either!), I had to aussume they were taking big swipes at it.
Still, Stan beating the crap out of Rodger was funny.
The lesbian kiss at the end was kind of hot.
Fox wussed out with the edit:

Uh, no it wasn’t. It had nothing to do with Desperate Housewives. Nothing at all. Not one single reference. Not a sausage.
Family Guy got a dig in by saying that (in Stewie’s estimation) they all looked old, and Marcia Cross’s face in particular looked “like Silly Putty stretched over someone’s knee.”
I liked the hotornot.com reference. It’s what library internet access is for.
For some reason, I was particularly amused when Stan pulled his gun on the lasagna.
