Cheers. I always thought peri-peri, piri-piri, pili-pili, and peli-peli were all spellings for the same thing, but I guess the spelling hints at where in Africa it’s from? I’ll check out that recipe. I usually make my own peri peri with lots of lemon. I’ve never tried garam masala in it.
pili-pili is the Swahili, piri-piri I always think of as Mozambican, and peri-peri, the South African.
Oh, and try lime rather than lemon. Or a mix.
