Fantasia annoyed the hell out of me last year, so it only makes sense that Mikalah will win it all this year. If they changed it up to where people called in for the person they want OFF the program, I would definitely start participating.

I think it was filler because of the amount of time they had to kill. It’s stupid and the contestants say things that make me think they are stupid, too.
Oh, I don’t know about that. She has a huge fan base here in the Tampa Bay area. She’s on the Fox affilate’s news channel here every night. And this area can get pretty crazy over their “local heros”.
BTW, why is everyone saying that Mikahella sang a Striesand song?! I was sure it was in West Side Story long before I ever heard Striesand sing it. I prefer the WSS soundtrack version. But no matter who sang it first, Mikalah still moidered it.

I’m not sure I’m going to watch tomorrow. I’ll read here but I won’t watch. It’s too painful. Even when people who deserve to go go, I feel bad. And the format is cruel, stupid and far, far too long.

I predict Amanda and Janay are gone. I wish Mikalah would disappear and definitely think she deserves to, but I’m not at all hopeful.

I’ve never heard the song Amanda song so I thought it sounded pretty good.

Carrie was sweet and I loved her telling Simon that she was old-fashioned when he complained about it. She smiled when she said it and it was sweet and endearing and I’m not even a fan.
Vonzell is absolutely gorgeous. She even looked cute in a ridiculous cowboy hat. I like that she’ll try singing classic songs and always looks like she’s having fun.
I like Nadia, but I hated her version of Try A Little Tenderness. IMHO, it’s supposed to be bluesy and she growled it out without an ounce of passion. And a big SO WHAT to her learning that song in 4 days. She sang the same part over and over. Big whoop!
Lindsay has such a nice low register and I actually liked her version of the Diane Warren/Aerosmith song. Heck, she’s more rock than that wannabe ConstantSuck. I’m not sure her fanbase is big enough to keep her around though.
Mikalah did not pick a good song choice for her. I think it was too low for her and didn’t show her spirit. It was bad to meh.
The less said about the last girl the better. Something about her rubs me the wrong way. She seems likes she’s one of those girls that things she’s hot only she’s not hot. Either that or she just reminds me a lot of my former roommate, Carla the Ho.
Oh honey, and what was she wearing?! Boring, unflattering, lacking in any recognizable sense of style, holy golly that was just sad.
It’s sabotage, plain and simple. Jess with her boobs hanging everywhere, was it Carrie who had a horrid tangerine top with a sparkly silver bikini outlining her boobage, the miniskirt making Nadia look nine feet tall, Vonzell’s hat, what’s going on?
Mikalah (Is that how you spell her name? Weird!) has no vibrato, just a very straight ugly tone. She makes my ears bleed. And she looks peculiar, too.

Amanda: Everything about her performance was hideous–the song, the voice, the performance. She’s good looking and that’s about it. Good bye.
Janay: She missed more notes than she hit. She’s never impressed me. Good bye.
Carrie: She has a great voice but I find her boring as a performer. Heinous outfit. She’ll be around for a while.
Vonzell: I’m glad Simon asked what she was wearing because I was wondering the same thing. Her voice sounded great but the performance was cheesy.
Nadia: She desperately needs a stylist without a vision problem. She was just OK–better at the end than the beginning. I guess she didn’t pay attention last week when they told her not to pick repetitive songs.
Lindsey: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Mikalah: I hate her speaking voice. This was a horrible performance–she sounds completely out of tune and now she sounds like a mediocre Bette Midler impersonator. This is horrid, awful, criminal, although she held the last note very, very well.
Jessica: Nice rack. She started out promising and then petered out into meh.
Janay should definitely be gone, along with Lindsey or Amanda.

I just wanted to say that this episode made me love Bo even more. Other than the fact that he kicks all these girl’s asses (with the exception of Nadia), he was rocking right the hell on out to each of the performances. Him and Anwar were getting down and I freaking love that about them both.
I’ll also mention that fucking Constantine was just standing there like an idiot most of the time.
In last season’s American Idol when they got about halfway through the finals they had each of the contestants sit down with a ‘professional psychic’ for a reading.
And, yes, it is apalling.
I agree with you list, for the most part, but I’m amazed you put Constant Screech at 11. Janay should have been voted off two weeks ago, but I’m vote for her in a heartbeat over Screech. I don’t think you are allowing yourself to feel the full amount of negativity that Screech engenders.
I can’t look at Screech without thinking of the time when Joey Lawrence from Blossom tried to make it as a rock star. Screech is similar, only dumber and less talented.
It’s not just the miniskirt. I think the extremely large hair helps. For all I know, she may actually be nine feet tall. But damn if this girl isn’t smokin’ hot. I mean, I’m a girl, and she’s one of the sexiest people I’ve ever seen.
Agreed, although it weirds me when they wear skirts and the lights reflect up from the shiny stage floor and cast odd patterns on their legs. You’d think someone would fix that.
