I pretty much agree with you. It annoyed me that the judges seemed to basically hate on all the solo performances equally, when to me Lee’s was clearly the worst. He just wasn’t in tune.

Lee was awful, Mike was okay, Casey did a nice arrangement, and Crystal was great.

I’ve got 15 points on Michael, and 5 points on Lee in my Idol Pool.

This is probably nitpicky, but my issue with the Casey/Big Mike duet was that Big Mike came in way early in his part. I suspect that is a failing on his part overall - he doesn’t have a feel for the music.

ETA: It’s one thing to joke about Mrs. Robinson on a message board, but I agree that the judges were acting like idiots over that - a wink is all that was needed there, not belaboring the point.

yeah, I have no idea who is leaving tonight out of Casey and Mike. Personally, I can’t stand Mike although he sings on key a good portion of the time which is more than I can say for Lee’s live performances.

This has been, unquestionably, the worst season of AI ever. Just horrific. I don’t even know why I’m watching. Wondering if I’m a closet masochist.

Even once it got down to Crystal and Mike? It would have been a huge shock if she left, I figure Mike knew as soon as they sent Lee back he was going home.

They don’t do themes any more. For the top 3 I think they do the three songs each (contestant picks one, judges pick one, and some d-bag producer picks one). But it is only scheduled for an hour so the might have dropped the d-bag producer.
