Mrs. Phlosphr says, AMERICA GOT IT WAAY WRONG! Melinda was the Idol without a doubt! I’ve been watching Idol since the first episode. They’ve made mistakes before, but this one is the worst I’ve ever witnessed.
Man, this has been a really bizarre season. This is, what, five, six weeks in a row that America votes the way I want them to.
Melinda, you’re an amazing singer. If only you were as good an entertainer.

See, I don’t think it’s clear at all. There is more to being a good singer than hitting all the notes correctly. To me, Melinda was an emotionless singer. Her singing didn’t move me. Jordin, on the other hand, gave me goose bumps. Her singing conveys something deeper. Whether you agree or not is a matter of opinion, but I don’t think it’s accurate to say that Melinda was the “clear” better singer, because there is plenty of room for debate on that.
