Did they give us a theme for this week? I know the guest star is Bon Jovi, so I hope they’re trying for more of a “rock” sound. And two go home…Chris and Phil, please!
They’re really determined to hurt me this season. 
Ooooh, Bon Jovi! I hope they show a lot of Jon – I love him. In fact, I would be perfectly fine if they just showed him, and nobody else. OK, since it’s supposed to be about the “kids,” they can do backup. But no leather pants! (On the kids, I mean. Jon can wear leather pants to his little heart’s content.)
Once again I get to miss everything (sniff* because of work.

I never was a rabid Bon Jovi fan, but I’ve always liked him.
I already know I’m going to miss Gina tonight.
I was away for so long and came back just in time for that excrutiatingly unentertaining 2 hour swollen belly-fest without a pay-off.

Singing is only so-so. This is one of JBJ’s more mediocre hits.
Hey! Phil is actually really good doing Blaze of Glory. Wow, I never noticed his good voice before.
That was a very banal performance by Phil. Simon is right as usual.
I’m with you, Diogenes. That was really dull karaoke. That performance should have stayed at home in front of the mirror.
So with only 6 left, does that mean we’ll have to endure one song then 6 commercials?
That’s gotta be MORE than 6 commercials. Dang!
Bon Jovi’s kind of a guilty pleasure for me. It’s power pop cheese, but he has a knack for writing it and I like his voice. I actually think his voice is a pretty distinct part of what makes his songs enjoyable and it will be interesting to see what people like Melinda and Kordin will do with it.
Phil’s singing did not impress me, but I looooooove that jacket. (I won’t mention that it looked about 300x better when Chris Daughtry wore it.)

These mentor clips are funny to me. Jon is so obviously stoned. It’s awesome.
Holy bridge-and-tunnel hair, Batman! She stole that wig from Miss Ross back in week one, I think. She’s aiight, but I can’t get past the camp of this performance. It’s like some kind of weird Rocky Horror Show or summat.
Was not impressed with Jordin’s vocal. Love her hair, though.
