David A. is pretty good. Big voice for such a little dude. He reminds me of Freddie Mercury just a little bit.
He’s young, as cute as a bug in a rug, can sing. We’ll be seeing a lot of this David.
Plus, he’s Spanish and you know how I feel about Spanish guys.
Could they slobber over the 17 yo any more?
Memo to Randy and Paul: enough with the constant “I forgot your age” schpiel that you do EVERY year. Every time the kid sings.
That, innocent, self-effacing, “aw shucks” thing he’s working is going to get him so much tail.
I don’t think of Harry Nillson as being “castrated.” Anyway, I actually like the “rocker guy” this year, even if he does look exactly like the parody of a rocker guy from American Dreamz.

Boy tail is what he’s after, I reckon. Not that he won’t get it.

Not in general but that one song is pretty Foreigner.
I can’t wait to see the biggest queen AI has had since Clay Aiken doing Elvis. This is going to be fantastic.

I like the song and I don’t think of it as particularly Foreigner. :shrugs:
1957s is the 60s?
Nothing against this kid but this is kind of high school pageanty.
Don’t like the hair. But I’m rooting for the flamer.

And he’s no Zac Efron!
Re Danny’s attempt at Jailhouse Rock: Elvis is spinning in his grave. That was the most vanilla, Wonderbread boring thing I’ve seen in a while.
In what world does someone make Leo Sayer sound better than Elvis?
He’s got a good enough voice, proved that in the auditions, but that poor boy just isn’t half as good-looking as he thinks he is, bless his heart.
Is Jailhouse Rock even from the 60s? I thought it was from the 50s. Okay I went off to the IMDb and the movie came out in 1957.
ETA: Geez, spend some time looking at IMDb and cricetus beats me to the comment.
I loves me some Danny, in a purely VFTW way. I’ll vote for him just to keep his personality around. He actually has a pretty good voice, although you wouldn’t know it from listening to that.
So far, for me, Danny Noriega is this season’s Sanjaya. I know, I know, it’s probably too soon to call, but he’s already grating on me as badly as Sanjaya did.
Guys, how does one manage to have the exact same length 5 o’clock shadow all the time? Is there a special electric razor setting for that?
