Like the 4th Installment, Band Camp, The Naked Mile is a direct to DVD feature.

My wife and I bought it (these days, it is nice to get a laugh somewhere), and we both thought it was hilarious.

I think it is the best American Pie since the original.

Ok. The link to the American Pie-iverse is pretty thin.

This installment follows the adventures of a Stiffler COUSIN who is a virgin. His chaste girlfriend gives him a weekend, guiltfree pass to go visit yet ANOTHER Stiffler cousin at college, who shows him how to live up to the Stiffler name.

Hijinks insue.

Eugene Levy is shoehorned in for added continuity, but what’s wrong with a little Eugene Levy?

Let me say this, given our discussion in the Band Camp Thread: There is more nudity in this movie than any other non-porno film I have ever seen!

It gets a meaty B rating. Good for a cheap laugh.

I was kinda annoyed that given all the nudity (including full frontal female) that we didn’t get a single frontal shot of a actor or male extra :frowning: . They even blurred the bonus features to ensure we didn’t see a cock or at least a cock sock :mad: . Other than that if was pretty funny. I wonder just how far removed from the original characters will the franchise get? :confused: Will there ever be another theatrical sequel? It’s annoying how they keep teasing us with news of Michelle and Jim’s parenthood. Of course that movie wouldn’t exactly be a raunchy teen comedy. :wink:

I think once you go the DVD route (which seems to be profitable for them), you don’t go back to the big screen.

I think the reason there was no sausage was less a moral one and more that it would “gross out” the franchise’s core demographic: frat boy males age 15-35.

As opposed to Eurotrip which had, according to the directors, “at least 3 times the German penis as, say, Harriet the Spy”.

To each their own. I might put it on NetFlix when the wife goes to Montana next month though.
