Hey, for those of you in the States who might want to come, check out Northwest, sometimes they have awesome deals to Amsterdam and it is low season…
Northwest and KLM have a partnership deal (although it is about to colapse, or so I hear). KLM flies to most US cities as well. And most Canadian cities!

Well, I’ve got my tickets, so that makes me a “definite”. It cost IEP169 + taxes, and I’ll be there until Sunday morning (departing Amsterdam at 1345). This is exciting! I can’t believe it’s more than two months away!

since I already told Tater. Yes, I am making an appearance at Amsterdope. I found my passport and will book things in the next week or so. Coldie, do fill me in on all things Amsterdam - I intend to be there a few days!
I think Clogster just left for a one or two week ski holiday, so I’m not sure when he’ll be back. In the meantime, I’m sure the rest of us would be glad to feed you all the misinformation we can about A’dam. 
We really need to find a place to stay, guys. Other than that, everything seems grand. I will be bringing the J.D. and ingredients for white trash dip, for the manly men at the manly house of Coldfire to munch on during the Grand Prix.
I am going to take the iniative here and officially ban mudslides from this Doperfest since both times I indulged in mudslides this year, blackmail pictures were taken. I am also going to propose that me & Snormy always stand at least ten feet apart, because together we seem to attract more than our fair share of women.
I propose that we either find a source for Tiger beer in A’dam or task the Irishmen with bringing us a case or two.
Any other suggestions?
Yum to the WTD, Boo-hiss to the mudslide ban and if you and SN are going to be standing 10 ft apart attracting a steady stream of women, can I stand half-way between you please? Oh and I’ve never heard of Tiger beer but I’ll be glad to bring a supply of cans of draught Guinness, if that’s any good?
Tell you what, hibster, we can have mudslides or we can bring cameras, but we’re not doing both!

Tiger beer: Is from Malaysia? I don’t remember (big suprise, huh?) Anyhoo, Yojimbo knows where to get it in Dublin. We are all quite fond of our Tiger beer. We’ll see if Coldy has a supply first, but if he doesn’t then I appoint you in charge of seeing that we have a couple of cases. Bring the Guiness, too.
Also, it’s a new tradition for us Trash to sing “Hey Baby” (DJ Otzi version) at least once at every gathering. If you do not have a copy, contact me & I will send you one & a lyrics sheet. This is not optional.
And I really don’t think you want to be anywhere near the Snormy n’ tater woman magnet…even we are scared of our own powers!

Good Morning Trash!
There should be another e-mail from me in your boxes soon, read it, absorb it, act on it. I know I am hyper-mega anal organization girl, but it would really help to have a good idea of how many people to expect. I am going to make reservations for dinner & the show at Boom Chicago, as well as find out if we can get some sort of group rate on the various A’dam attractions. So far, the only site-seeing activity planned is a canal ride; I wanted to go on the deluxe night ride with fire & pea soup but Mr. Money Grubbing Capitalist Moderator vetoed that in favor of the cheaper generic canal tour. I will try and be a good sport about this, but it just won’t be the same without the pea soup.
As for other sites, I say we make a list of what everybody wants to see and choose a couple.

I just got some information in the mail for something called BUSABOUT Europe that sounds great (any of you Euro-Dopers familiar with this?). It claims to be an unlimited bus pass that travels to most large European cities without reservations. If it isn’t too good to be true, my plans to be in Amsterdam that Saturday is 99.9% positive. Otherwise, I still have to confirm other travel plans.
I can’t wait!
