Amusing business names

Street Drugs…lol. I love it!

I have seen a van only two my life that says Crapo Appliance Repair. A look in the phone book reveals no listing. I’ve always been curious about it.

Johnny L.A. mentioned Seattle House of Hose. I haven’t seen that but I’ve been by Nicewonger many times. It’s some industrial type company.

Jay Leno gave a place 15 minutes of fame to a place about 30 miles from here. Sar’s Chinese Restaurant. A local news station interviewed the owners, who said business is doing just fine.

Saw a sign-written van a while ago, for a domestic cleaning company called Spruce Springcleen.

My SO told me about a club (strip club if I recall correctly) where he lives that runs under the name DV8…although, he never did point it out to me when I was there visiting. Still, a very amusing and creative name if you ask me.

Here in U-town there’s a bar called “He’s Not Here” quotes and all. It gets less funny every time I see it, but it’s still pretty good.

Two more…on US 219 in northern PA you can find “Don’t Know Tavern and Grill” and, further south, another bar, called “Who Cares?”

I’ve mentioned this one before, but I love it.
There’s a gas station in town called “Pump and Munch”.

Used to be a shoe shop in Dublin too…

When travelling in Turkey, we passed a café, I forget how it was spelled, but the most obvious pronunciation to us was “Camel Cock Cafe”. Possibly Khamel Kokh or something.

Also in Turkey we noticed that one of the leading bank operators was the company Seimens. A Siemen Bank!! I think I will just go in and make a deposit!! Etc… hahah

Kithara, there was a DV8 here but it was an underage dance joint.

That reminds me…I used to work as a temp for Seimens, in one of the branch offices in Staines, Surrey…and yes, the telephonist used to anwer the 'phone, “Good morning, Seimens, Staines…” Always good for a smirk, that one.

There is a chimney sweeping business close to me called ‘ash wipe’

How many times do I have to say it?

Bunghole Liquors!

Mobile oil change service called Dr. Lube.

There is a restaurant near my workplace named Japanese Restaurant.

I think it serves Japanese food.

i joined this site for the express purpose of adding this business name (though i’m sure i’ll be back), seen by me in NH

Master Bait & Tackle, a fish bait and hunting store…:dubious:

There’s a bar in a strip center by my house that’s called

Waldo’s: Cocktails and Music To Dance By.

Don’t know why, but that’s freakin’ funny.

In another strip center, there’s a Chinese restaurant called

Lung Fung.

Never eaten there. Just can’t do it.

There’s a mall nearby called The Mall. And yesterday I was downtown and saw a store or restuarant or bar or something called Seoul to Soul. I dont know what kind of place it was but the name was cool.

Kimchee, and sweet-potato pie.

“Johnson Controls”

They make A/C equipment.
Makes me think of baseball.

Ok, I’ve got a good one…

Wait for it…

Suk Medong.
