While reading through a book called “Why Hitler? The Genesis of the Nazi Reich”, i came upon a little known fact that no one ever bothers to mention…
Hilter was a vegentrian
After the suicide of one of his lovers, Geli Raubal (his half-sister’s daughter) Hitler reufused to eat ham (and all other meat afterwards), stating that “its like eating a corpse”.
Now, despites drainbead’s accusations im not being a “troll”. Im not attempting to draw any conclusions from this fact, I am just curios as to if anyone has ever heard of this and what people think.
Also i have nothing agaisnt vegetarians, so long as its for health (or religious)reasons. Meat isnt exaclty the healthiest food on earth, and i wont say a cross word to anyone who refuses to eat it for that reason. Now, vegans on the other hand…

I knew the corporal was a vegetarian. So what?

To quote Dennis Leary, “Yes you WILL eat the meat because not eating meat is a decision, eating meat is an instinct!”

Umm, for a guy that committed all the atrocities he did, he sure sounds like a fucking wuss…
“Through twilight, darkness and moonrise
My scarlet tears will run
As stolen blood and whispered love
Of fantasies undone”
In the middle of the book they had a few pictures of Hitler and other nazi leaders, and their was a picture, I swear to God, of Hitler feading a baby deer.

puh-lease. An amazing discovery indeed.
Hitler’s vegeterianism is a little know fact?
I can hardly wait for your next amazing revelation.
Cecil’s right. It’s taking longer than we thought.
ve•gen•tri•an (noun) - formed from the roots Vedda and Gentry. Specifically, a member of an aboriginal tribe of Sri Lanka holding a high social position.
I’d say that’s quite a revelation.
Hitler had digestive problems. The diet was prescribed by his doctor and had nothing to do with any sort of meat-eating “ethics”.
Your brain-in-a-jar,

Imbibo, ergo sum.
Myron, Hitler may, indeed, have had digestive problems. However, there are a large number of anecdotes in which Hitler made disparaging comments about meat and people who ate meat. The anecdotes may be simply anti-Hitler propaganda started by the meat-packing industry, for all I know, but Hitler’s apparent personal revulsion for meat has definitely made it into popular lore.
Whenever Mike Royko received too much hate mail or prosyletizing letters from vegetarians (after some crass anti-vegetarian remark in his column), he would trot out his column on Hitler’s vegetarianianism. If his quotes were accurate, Hitler could be pretty direct and rude on the subject of eating meat.

There was a great song on Dr Demento (back when the station that plays him could be picked up where I live(I mean, hell, the guy got his start at Reed College in Portland, he should be broadcast here if anywhere!)) called "Hitler Was A Vegetarian Too. I wish I could find lyrics or an MP3.
The chorus was:
“Hitler was a vegetarian too,
He also was an anti-smoker,
Militantly so…”
Or something like that.

“I never meant to hurt you,” you said,
And buried yourself in lies instead.
Next time I would rather be slain,
Than forced to bear your mercy again.
