I think his point is well made - if Opal didn’t fly off the handle at the smallest tiniest provocation, there wouldn’t be the need for any of this.
People only got riled when she decided to lay into Darwin’s Finch for no reason whatsoever, including making what I thought was explicitly and absolutely a bannable offence - that of announcing her ignore list.
Saying all that, I don’t want to be the big grumpy-boots in someone’s apology thread, so I hold my hands up and say quits. But let’s avoid repitions in the future, hein? Though on past record I don’t hold out much hope.

For the record, that rule about the ignore list is a very recent one and wasn’t there the last time I read the rules, else I would not have done that.

Frequent = pretty much every thread in which someone seriously disagrees with you.
Disagreement doesn’t mean that they personally don’t like you or find you disagreeable. It just means that they don’t agree with what you’re saying. It helps to assume that an enquiry made of you is in good faith and that misunderstandings are just that.
Reading again what Darwin’s Finch said, can you honestly say that it was appropriate to react in the way you did? Bearing i mind that absolutely everything was civil up to that point.
