The ultrasound measures her at 2090 grams, or 4 lbs, 9 1/5 oz for the Americans out there. The weight is just right!
Lots of grey! Lots of boredom! Ordinary! Nothing special!
The cervix is firmly closed shut! No danger yet of early labor.
Keep sticky little one! At least five more weeks!
And all is well with my friend’s baby and the mother. He’s off in outer space, but father’s don’t count.

Personally, I think October 6 is a wonderful day for a birthday.
I rather like October 9 (my grandma’s birthday) or the 11th (on which day I will see my favorite band in the universe) for a birthday.
Really, the entire week of Oct 4-12 will do, since that first weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving… I think we’ll all be very thankful for the birth of a happy, healthy Beta-chan!
On edit, Thanksgiving is apparently the 13th this year… oh well, a happy healthy Beta-chan BEFORE Thanksgiving is still something to be thankful for!
