An Easy Lunch Food Question

Also, doesn’t curing the meat (as bacon is) solve the problem of anything lurking in the meat? (really asking)

“I don’t hate you, NO MATTER WHAT THOSE SHITHEADS ARE WHISPERING IN YOUR EARS! Want a bacon dog?”

I would decline the treat and tell the story for years.

That curing, and usually smoking, means bacon, like ham, is not raw pork.

Also wild boar meat.

If the animal has b-a-r in its name, raise the food safety bar and cook that meat to 165F!

I had no idea we had any wild boar in the US.

Yes, it’s a problem in parts of the South / Southwest, especially Texas.

Well, not wild as in native pigs, but feral.

To the point that there have been several reality-TV series about people who hunt wild pigs; “American Hoggers” was on for four seasons:

Then you should stop by! Tie your dog to the iron front railing and knock. I can cook this dog in about 5 minutes. There are some professions which starve their employees day in and day out. Some of them I’ll recognize because of yada yada yada.

You can cook bacon in five minutes! And it is good?

How?

A few years back, when I was shopping on-line for something else ( a plastic microwave container that cooks hotdogs; 30 seconds each if it matters ) I saw and bought a covered plastic tray that cooked strips of bacon ( a whole pack ) in the microwave in less than 5 minutes.

I’m guessing that I can wrap the dogs in the bacon, pin them with toothpicks, set them in the slots for the bacon, put on the cover, and while the tray is cooking… set out plates, tongs, rolls, and other condiments.

Cheese clean up after might be dicey, but I can soak dishes. The chili would be put in a small bowl and heated for about a minute after.

If it doesn’t meet their time frame, there is a food truck two miles down the road that they can try to scam for free food.

I’m sorry, but I HAVE confused them.
