An embarrassing Simpsons question

What color is Krusty’s hair?

The other day, I was watching The Simpsons. Bart and Lisa had written an Itchy and Scratchy episode under the nom de plume of Abraham Simpson, who then went on to win an animation award. The award was presented by Krusty and Brooke Shields. Krusty had to say:

“Look! The star of The Blue Lagoon and the blue-haired loon! Ooooh, who writes this stuff? And my hair is green!”

His hair is green? Not according to my television for the last 5 years.

But then yesterday I was at a friend’s place, and The Simpsons were on. Guess what color Krusty’s hair was? Green.

So, has my tint been completely off for the last 5 years, or was that episode some sort of fluke of animation? I could have sworn that I went through the color correction program when I installed my DVD.

Is there anything else I need to know that I could have been missing out on for the last 5 years?

Lisa is 22 and has a rocking body… or is your colour that bad?

I always thought his hair was aqua-ish, so it looks blue or green depending on your interpretation of aqua-ish

His hair has always appeared green (not aqua-ish, sorry to disagree with you, Ford) on every TV I’ve watched it on.

Except the one where the color tube was failing.

That one, it was kind of an odd reddish color.

I just did an image search on Google for pictures of Krusty because my memory of such things is so bad, and in the pictures that come up his hair color varies from this to this to this, but in most of them I’d say it’s definitely green.

It always looked on the blueish side of blue green to me while watching, but checking out the website, it looks green. huh.

Krusty to Brooke Shields: “You were in The Blue Lagoon, and I’m a blue haired goon… what the? That’s terrible! My hair’s not even blue, it’s green!”

Whoops, sorry about repeating the OP quote and essentially adding nothing useful. Carry on. :smack:

No problem Sis, disagree away.
