Engineer’s Guide To Cats
I laughed, I cried (from laughing so hard), I thought the guys were kinda hot (for engineers) and the cats were adorable. I too do the corporal cuddling (with some yodelling thrown in at times).
I saw that the other day and thought it was hysterical. Those three kitties are a lot like my three, except the engineering kitties are a little more vocal. I even have one who chews cardboard into interesting (and messy) shapes.

I tried corporal cuddling on Pudding this morning… she purred. She’s a discipline nightmare.

Attempts to discipline Scooter via corporal cuddling only result in squirminess and kickiness. Meowing is strictly reserved for petting demands after waking up in the other room or desire to go outside on his leash.
I humbly admit that I got the link from a different message board. I found the Spider Robinson quote on my own, though. I thought it was particularly appropriate to message board situations.
Sattua, my husband’s cat responds to corporal cuddling with purring, followed by warning licks and then the biting and the dropping. Possibly with swearing.
