An obscure South Park music question

In the Afghanistan episode, when Bin Laden is blown up, a tune plays on his teeth…it sounded to me like th Blackadder theme, but was it, or was it something else, or was it me being too imaginative  ?

I’m struggling to remember this, but it was either “I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandee” or the US national anthem. I might be recalling something I’ve seen in an old Warner Brothers cartoon, though.

It’s the first few notes of “America the Beatiful”

Most likely Bugs Bunny in Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips or Hare meets Herr, both WW2 WB propaganda. I believe there was also a line in the episode that was modified from a line in Gremlins from the Kremlin, another cartoon from the same period.

I can’t say what music was used in the South Park episode, though.

Which is very similar (if not identical) to the Blackadder theme.

Considering what that whole segment was supposed to be parodying, I’m surprised the tune wasn’t “Those Endearing Young Charms”. (With the player missing the high C, of course.)

THAT’S IT!!! I knew that it was something along that vein…
