You really need to become concerned once white, lifeless veggies mysteriously begin appearing.
Bunnicula!
I haven’t thought of that book in years!
Wow, I’m surprised someone got the reference that quickly!
I actually wanted to name one of our dogs Bunnicula, but alas, I was overruled.
And in case anyone is wondering what I’m talking about, here’s the Amazon description of the book
William the rabbit has several annoying habits, such as lying on his side with his eyes half-open in an impressive imitation of a dead rabbit and trying to squeeze his fat self into somewhere he obviously cannot fit.
Whenever I carry him for photographs, he ends up trying to bury his face in my chest, thus leading to some rather amusing shots that have caused me to consider rabbit stew.
There was also the time he jumped into the toilet, which was rather amusing in the “oh-no-is-he-drowning” way.
Benny the Bunny used to do this too - then I got my little doggie.
Now when I let Benny out, he’s on me like stink on an ape.
Voltaire tends to chase him a little - FWIW, when Voltaire catches Benny he corners him and licks his ears - Benny hates that. Have you been licking Bunbun’s ears? perhaps that explains the lukewarm reception.
MENCHI!!
Bunnicula! Awesome!
I know my mother has my old copy around somewhere! I’ll have to ask her about it next time I talk to her. What great stories.
Cotta Offspring dropped Her Highness in the toilet once. He was carrying her around inside his heavy sweater but suddenly had to ‘go’. He didn’t want to put her down, he didn’t want to take off the sweater and since he had 2 hands… PLOP! She slid into the toilet and left some long scratches. Only fair really, since he peed on her as well.
My dog thinks we must be trying to kill her–with the ironing board, the blinds, the side drawer in the table, the vaccuum… poor thing.
If you want amusement, give your little Bun Bun one of those kids playground balls in his cage.
I gave my Late Herbie one and got a quick lesson in sex ed that day.
Huh???
I think I need some ‘splainin’!
