To be completely frank, I think people who love the idea of APs being real haven’t really thought it through. Yeah, woopedy-doo we’re living in magic world! Now people can spy on you at will! I’m sure no whackos or bad guys will abuse it! Yay!
Also, it’s kind of annoying how people hide behind the courtesy and ‘open-minded’ ness of others.

It would be useful if you could publically agree to them, so we can judge your success (or not) scientifically. if you want to make changes, I can discuss that.
I, on the other hand, do not think you were attacked(at least not by me)-you’re fantastic claims were challenged, and rightfully so. Your claims may have been ridiculed, but then again, this was after you expressed indignation and surprise at others for wanting you to back up your claim. This problem can be easily solved by you. All you have to do is find a varifiable way to show us your claimed ability.
Glee, I noticed that you conveniently skipped over the part where I discussed the seeming uselessness of brain cells and eyes, given the claim by astral projectionists that it is possible to think and see without use of either. If we can see better and farther without eyes, how did we ever develop them in the first place?
All of this is moot anyway. The claim is still without evidence and unproven.

Whatever, I find it disturbing that when someone posts to claim some supernatural ability or other that it is somehow taboo for us to strongly demand that they put up or shut up. There’s been very little putting up so far; time to get real, methinks.

Well, I do agree that the ‘atmosphere’ of some posts can be a little… uneasy at times.

First off opacis magi you should email a mod about your multiple user names. It’s frowned upon- even if it honestly happens like your case it wastes resources.
Please remember that I mentioned I’m not coming from a place of skepticism based in ignorance. I’ve read extensivly about APs/OOBEs/LDs. I’ve discussed the issue with lots of APers and LDers. I’ve personally had dozens of Lucid Dreams. My own experience and outside knowledge leads me to believe that APs are lucid dreams containing specific dream signs and viewed through a specific emotional filter. I believe they are an awesome tool for self-exploration but it’s all in your head.
