An Unfortunate Name

Wellington, New Zealand.

A New Zealand racehorse called Rainhailorshine died when it was struck by lightning in its paddock at Cambridge in the North Island.

‘I’ve never heard of it happening before’ said the six year old galloper’s part owner.

Yes, that name is quite unfortunate. But it could be worse: It could be ‘Condom’.

Or ‘Clarence’.

What’s wrong with names starting with ‘C’?

Dunno, Chickpea.

Wait’ll you hear what that owner plans on calling the next one.

Alpo.

Just kidding.

Mmm…I was thinking Elmer.
