Now THAT is a super-cute baby. Kisses from me, please, one on each chubby little cheek! I’ve been wondering how y’all have been getting along, glad to hear everything’s going well.
My favorite thing about babies (besides the Xtreme cute factor) is how fascinating they are to watch. Every waking moment is a learning moment, and even when they’re just lying there vaguely waving their arms and legs, they’re processing information. A friend of mine has a little girl about 6 months old, and I can practically hear the little hamster spinning at Mach 1 on its wheel inside her curly little head as she plays around and observes her environment and “talks” to people. She’s got a ton of “aunts” and “uncles” and all of us are competing to have our name be her first word.
Well, I’m not much of a baby person, but that is a pretty cute little baby you got there.

Today (it’s already Saturday night) was Daddy Day as mommy had to be gone for most of the day.
Babies are hard work! Sure, I’ve been helping as much as I can, but this was the first time to do it solo for a whole day. I really appreciae what my wife does everyday.

Please appreciate the fact that at this stage, they stay pretty close to where you put them. Honestly, appreciate it once for me. Put baby down, walk away, come back, baby still there.

What a cutie! Have you determined any personal characteristics? When she was one day old, my brother and his wife said that my niece was ‘determined’, and she’s lived up to that ever since.

I warned my husband that he might cry when he saw our son smile for the first time. I did. So, a day or so after I first saw him smile, hubby saw him smile and cried like a baby. It really does melt your heart.
