Anarchy/total destruction playlist

Some people have an emergency chocolate bar in their top drawer at work. I have half a dozen YouTube bookmarks.

Radio Birdman - Aloha Steve and Danno

The Saints - Know Your Product

TISM - [He’ll Never Be An] Old Man River

AC/DC - Long way to the Top

X [the Australian band, not the US one] - I dont wanna go out

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Tupelo

That should keep you happy / angry / pumped / distracted as necesary.

Mothers of Invention - “Trouble Every Day”

Rage Against the Machine - Guerrilla Radio.

And most anything by RATM, really.

Ministry has a song called “Lion’s Mouth” that appears at the end of Timothy Leary’s farewell album. I’m at work and can’t link, but it would fit the bill.

Thanks for the suggestions, lots to check out.

The Minus Five’s eponymous album has several entries worthy of inclusion on the playlist, including “Bought A Rope”, “Original Luke” and of course “With A Gun”:

I’ll kick your sister’s ass
I’m going to take your brother’s face and smash it in the grass
It’s no wonder I am spiral-bound

And “The Knife” by Genesis sort of fit my mood yesterday.

I’ll give you the names of those you must kill
All must die with their children
Carry their heads to the palace of old
Hang them high, let the blood flow
Now, in this ugly world
Break all the chains around us

Har har…but thanks to your post:

2 cents, by Beowulf!

OP: If you know TV set, you know The Cramps. Why you gotta look anywhere else for relentless manic energy?

OK, I have a link to the song I mentioned. This album had the lyrics to everything it contained printed in the packaging. Except this song. For this one all it said was “Listen carefully”. Which I did, and I still don’t know the lyrics. But I think this song has chaos written all over it. My opinion.

“Eve of Destruction”, of course.

Gimme What You Got” - Andrew “RedEye” W.K.

Future Legend/Diamond Dogs by Bowie

Surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet.
So What–Ministry

I was thinking about a song from that same album, and almost went with “Burning Inside”, but something about the Leary track always impressed me.

AwolNation - Burn It Down

Paul Leonard-Morgan - MiniGuns (Soundtrack from Dredd)

Def Leppard - Armageddon It

Curtis Stiger & The Forest Rangers - This Life (Them from Sons of Anarchy)

The Temptations - Ball Of Confusion

So fitting for the times…

Africa Bambatta & Johnny Lydon World Destruction
Social Distortion 1945

Fear is a Man’s Best Friend–John Cale

Mudshovel Staind.

Effigy23. American Head Charge

ETA: mudshovel was the song i chose for my last bodybuilding show. The energy was perfect for me: destruction and rage; channeled into an artistic creation of self-expression.

I just thought of one more.

The Devil in I Slipknot.

While their costumes are silly and halloweenish, this song has great energy. Classic headbanger.

I’m amazed that in a thread with this title, no one has suggested:

Swamp Dogg: Total Destruction to Your Mind

Or even the best cover of this song by Stoneground

Panic Switch by the Silversun Pickups
You’re Going Down by the Sick Puppies
Dirt Room by Blue October
