In October, the head of the department I work for announced that he has accepted a position with the University of Alberta in Canada. He’ll be gone at the end of February.
In December, my boss went to the same Canadian university for a recruitment session and they offered him a great deal. This week, Dr. Boss is going to Florida about an endowed chair position.
Today, I found out that another researcher in this department has taken a position in California.
Whine. Moan. Bitch. Complain. 
They couldn’t pay me enough to herd this bunch of cats.
