How does the “no politics” rule work here? I see a few threads in which it would be impossible to avoid politics. For example:

Admittedly, since this is a new forum we’re kinda figuring it out as we go. Basically, if it’s something that is more appropriate for Politics and Elections, post it there, not here. Similarly, if it’s a debate issue, post in Great Debates instead of here. If it doesn’t fit in those forums, then post it here.
We are trying to avoid overlap between QZ and P&E/GD.
What do you want us to do if a thread should probably be in this forum, but isn’t? For example, “Should I completely avoid visiting my elderly parents for the next few months,” which is about the risk posed by COVID-19.
Just report the thread. We tried to move everything that we thought was appropriate for this forum but I’m sure we missed a few.
EEK! I had no idea there were so many CV threads!
This is great. I was getting depressed whenever I looked at a forum where 2/3 of the threads on the front page were coronavirus-related. Thought about starting a thread on tipping, or declawing, just to get everyone distracted or pissed off by something different.
By the way, if you put a plane on a treadmill, will it take off?
