According to this article on IMDB, a gaggle of dimwits terrified by the complexities of human sexuality and dead ignorant of history, psychology, or sociology are planning to perform chanting rituals to placate their nonexistent deity, who apparently disapproves of the genitals He created.
First, what is a man doing in heading a group called Concerned Women for America? Sounds like someone has his own problems with gender identity.
Second, Kinsey’s work is tainted by bad sampling and has largely been rendered irrelevant by his flawed controls, but apparently statistics is another subject that has eluded Knight and friends. Kinsey didn’t create human sexuality, ya Bible-toting dipshit, he merely catalogued the sexual behaviors reported by the subjects his research team interviewed. And comparing a sex researcher to Mengele? Hey, ya superstitious morons, reporting on sexual conduct is entirely dissimilar to injecting chemicals into the eyes of Jewish twins.
But of course, I should realize that to these assmonkeys, treating gay people as human beings and allowing Americans to learn about their bodies’s capacity for pleasure is a threat to the fundies’ goal of rigid social control and institutionalized bigotry in a theocratic America.
In the spirit of scientific research into human sexuality, may I invite Robert Knight and his flock of sexphobic losers to go fuck themselves?

I’m surprised the protestors haven’t been repeating some of the popular fundy slanders about Kinsey being a pedophile who did sex experiments on children and sympathized with Nazis. No doubt that crap will be in the pamphlets they say they want to hand out at screenings of the movie. I intend to see the film so I would be only too happy to engage one of these blithering imbeciles in a little friendly debate.

Did anyone see Saved? They have several jokes about “spiritual virginity” in the movie (not to mention the fact that the protagonist had sex with her boyfriend at the command of Jesus to save him from homosexuality .

For anyone who’s interested, Kinsey is written and directed by Bill Condon, who previously made the truly excellent film Gods and Monsters, and advance buzz on the film is very, very good indeed. It stars Liam Neeson as the researcher and Laura Linney as his long-suffering wife. Can’t wait.
