I work as a PC technician at a vocational/technical school. I’ve also been doing a little web page design for them. After dragging their feet for almost a year, the administration here has finally decided to have me be a web page designer and administrator full time! This is great and it has been my dream job for the past 2 years. I am so geeked about this. They told me yesterday that the would be posting my current job and get somone else to do the PC tech work around here.
I don’t have a “dream job”, and I envy you for having one and getting it. Not so much, though, that I can’t be happy for you!
Not to be critical of being a PC technician, for their skills are important, too, but being a webpage designer and administrator sounds both far more interesting and lucrative.
