Pretty lame, funny in parts but yeah. Lame. I’ve been waiting months for a new fix of Angel and this is what i get? Sheesh! And after the last few episodes I thought the season was finally beginning to make a turn for the better.
I’ve been watching through seasons 1, 2 and 3 with my SO over the Christmas drought and I gotta say, all the main characters seem to be a lot more unpleasant than they used to be - I almost dislike them, and that’s never a good thing in the supposed ‘heros’ of the show. Hell, Spike’s almost the only good guy left - how weird is that?
No mention of Eve, Lindsey, nothing new on the Shan Shou…grrr
That’s a stretch. And even if it was the writers’ intention to give me fun by making me feel intellectually superior to Harmony, it didn’t work. Next week, are they going to try to entertain me by making me feel physically superior to a comatose Pomeranian?
I don’t watch the show to see stupid people figuring out obvious mysteries.
That’s even more of a stretch. Angel never told her to procure a camel; her job isn’t to anticipate obscure and questionable desires by him, but rather to do what he tells her to do. Has he EVER indicated a desire for her to be proactive? Has he EVER rewarded her for showing initiative?
If she thought it was an absolute necessity (she didn’t: she clearly thought it would be a nice touch), she should’ve insisted that he listen to her. It was stupid on her part.
And I’ve seen Ted, Bad Eggs, and Go Fish. All of them were far more entertaining for me, and definitely less cringe-inducing, than this was.
Just kidding, I liked Ted well enough, but how often do I get to use that line?
For those asking how Spike got his body back, Spike got re-embodied by a mysterious package which was delivered to W&H. The package was sent by Lindsay and Eve
