I didn’t much care for Percival’s post-game declaration that “no one deserves this more than we do!” Please. They may have wanted it more, but deserved it? How about the Twins or the Cardinals, or even the A’s. (Or, if we want to look at the big picture, how about Boston or the Cubs?)
Overall, it was just a great Series. Too bad only California was watching.
The Angels deserved it because they were there and those other teams weren’t. They trailed, dug deep, and won.
They wanted it and got it; that’s why they deserved it. Angels are the champions!!
