Someone asked me this recently and I couldn’t answer:
Besides humans, are there any animals that use the missionary position for mating?

Besides the missionary position, Bonobos (Pan paniscus) have also been observed engaging in oral sex, french kissing, homosexual sex, and plenty of orgies.
I can handle the rest of it, but the French kissing skeeves me out for some reason. :eek:
To answer the OP, I believe cats are known to use the missionary position sometimes.
Not that I doubt you, but I’d love to see a cite for that, just out of interest. Sounds like a whole lotta paws would get in the way. Overcoming my fear of Googling in such waters, I did see that CAT is “a revised missionary position specifically designed to improve a woman’s chances of achieving orgasm”, but I don’t think that’s what you meant, somehow. 
Armadillos also do it facing each other, according to wikipedia.
And apparantly are also one of the few animals besides humans that can get leprosy. We’ve got more in common with these armored rats than we think!
Dolphins mate face-to-face, if that counts as missionary position.
Obviously missionary style leads to leprosy!

IIRC, they are not affected by the disease. They carry it but don’t get sick from it.

Cecil doesn’t mention this, but I have also read a claim that the male urinating on the female serves to soften her quills.
That usually has the opposite effect when I try it. :eek:
