What a terrible sequel to a great Don Bluth movie
Tom and Jerry Talk!!! That’s one of the biggest disasters of this movie! Oh and there’s this little girl, she’s the main focus of the film it’s like Tom and Jerry are supporting characters now
Oh god, I loved the RB Return of the King. Hilarious. ![]()
“Where there’s a whip … [crack!] … there’s a way!”
I’d like to see them do “Slave Warrior Maya” from the Cool Devices hentai series. Let 'em have at some full bull-goose looney Japanese hentai and see what happens! BTW, the MST3K guys are still at work, Mike and a couple of them on Rifftrax, Joel and others on Cinematic Titanic, so some of your wishes might be realized, at least in part. There’s a totally bowdlerized version on Youtube with all the nudity and sex left out, but the Misties really need to do the full version. A lot of the stuff that will leave the Misties screaming in horror is missed in this way.
Personally, I really liked Felidae. Maybe it’s just me but I thought the characters were memorable (especially the main villain) and the story interesting. I’d probably watch Joel/Mike and the bots taking it on though.
I see that The Legend of Titanic was mentioned a few posts before mine, but has anyone mentioned the other animated Titanic movie? The one with the rapping dog? If not, I’d suggest that one.
This movie is not as entertaining as the show and there was too much talking about why pokemon shouldn’t be fighting ISN’T THAT WHAT THE FRANCHISE IS ABOUT!
Metamorphoses, aka Winds of Change.
Japanese anime, based on Greek mythology, with a disco soundtrack.
(Actually, it’s a pretty good movie. Even though the music will make you cringe.)
like A Troll in Central Park, Rock a Doodle, and Pebble and the Penguin?
I’ve got a copy – needed to review the Perseus/Medusa segment for my book.
This movie is truly a lost opportunity – it was supposed to the 1the 1970s answer to Fantasia, with an all-rock score by some heavy hitters, and with traditional animation done by some of the great animators (some of whom worked on the original Fantasia).
But they lost all the Big Name rock stars that wrere supposed to contribute original music. Somehow, despite the participation of some great animation talent, the animation came out second-rate (characters move is weird and often pointless ways. As animation historian Joe Adamson once said, “If an animated character just walks from one side of the room to the other, the animator has abandoned him”. This movie is filled with abandoned characters.
It didn’t help that the heroes and heroines are played by cutesy big-eyed characters that look as if they stepped out of those “Love Is…” cartoons.
finally, the story was, like Fantasia, all supposed to be told without words. But nobody could figure out what the hell was going on, so they got Peter Ustinov to narrate. It frequently sounds as if he’s just making it up as he goes along. This, combined with the third-rate musical score they imposed on it, completes the film’s ruin.
There is some very smooth animation in it, and a couple of clever ideas, but not enough to save this overcute film with its bad music and narration.
Pretty much…even Titan A.E., sadly enough. The worst part about that one was the few scenes—or even parts of scenes—that were flashes of a really good movie.
This sequel to The Care Bears Movies insults the famous Lewis Carroll book with the rapping Chesire Cat, and making The Queen of Hearts nice!
