Is the name of that book Ranma One-Two or Ranma One-Half? Sorry, this one’s driven me nuts.

Ranma One-Half is how it’s generally pronounced. (You see, Ranma is half boy and half girl.) In Japanese, it’s Ranma Nibunnoichi.
Ahhh… Ranma 1/2… pointless cartoon T&A. 
Did anyone else see anything inherently wrong with the fact that Akane’s grandfather was always trying to get her panties?
Happosai isn’t Akane’s grandfather. He was the mentor to both Soun Tendo and Genma Saotome, but I believe that he is not related to either of them.
That’s not her grandfather. Master Happosai’s her dad’s and Ranma’s dad’s old teacher. He is a bit too much of a deve. Ryoga’s more fun, IMAPISEHO.

I must have a bad translator then… Happosai is referred to by Akane as “grandfather” in a couple of the dubbed episodes I have.
Anyway… Ryoga is cool. He was my favorite next to Shampoo. 
That’s just an honorary term. The Japanese often refer to non-relatives with family titles, it’s considered polite.
“I, Tatewake Kuno, known amongst my classmates as the Blue Thunder…” snicker Recently downloaded that episode–classic…I think Kuno amuses me even more than Ryoga or Nibiki.
I just made a Ranma 1/2 tape for my 11 year old niece.
I hope my sister doesn’t kill me. I figure kids get exposed to South Park these days, and Ranma isn’t exactly offensive… Just kind of… wierd.
