Ann Coulter Endorses Hillary!
oh, and another thing, which is a side note. Who was it that received the right to vote initially? Was it race or gender?

It was race.

And I’m not playing the race card here, just throwing in some history. Obama’s race isn’t a factor with me, although it’s an additional benefit for him.
It may be a bit more complicated than that. It’s likely some free blacks were able to vote in early New England, but I can’t think of any examples. Just a few weeks back I learned that one state (probably Maryland - 17th or 18th century) rewrote its voter qualification law and, while careful to spell out property-owning requirements, neglected to mention gender. Thus, a few widows who had inherited land were able to vote until the law was “fixed”.
Of course that anorexic battleaxe wants Hillary for prez; she’s her favorite target.

Yawn.

Coulter is a money grubbing publicity whore. She lives for shit like this thread.

Thiiiis. If you were the high-and-tight right, how would you want to spend the next 4 years:
a) giving lukewarm, half-hearted props to a Pub moderate like Romney or a maverick like McCain, or
b) lambasting the living shit out of a not-always-ultralikeable Clinton Dem who also happens to be the first woman President?
God, I wish Obama (Hi, look at me! I’m charismatic! I have no other good points unless you’re a hard left nutcase!)…
If you truly believe that Obama’s politics are “hard left,” i submit that your political compass should be taken into the store for recalibration.

There is, quite simply, no such thing as a hard left presidential candidate at this stage of the game. The only candidate that ever came close to qualifying was Dennis Kucinich, and no-one (probably not even Kucinich himself) ever believed that he had a chance.

Coulter: If McCain is nominated, I’m campaigning for Clinton!
Clinton: Oh, fuck.

I think I’m beginning to smell something here…If Limbaugh, Coulter, Levine, etc., all “ask” their listeners to not vote, they can then say the “gave” this election to the Dems because they didin’t want it.

I’m not proud. I don’t care why the Dems win (short of something dishonest). I care only that they win.

And it would be the first time in years.

I’ve voted GOP my whole life, and if McCain is the nominee, I will not support him. I certainly won’t vote for Hillary, but I’ll pick my favorite third party candidate and throw away my vote there…

a lot like a certain former Governer of Arkansas cum President.

Ummm . . . . goodnight, folks!
Mark Levin, obnoxious radio show host, said he would quit his show if McCain won
Florida. Sadly, he did not actually do it. I guess both of thier complaints are that McCain is not conservative enough.

Also, Rush said he wouldn’t vote at all.

eh. I take this the same way as all those celebrities (Alec Baldwin for one) who said they’d move out of the US if Bush won.

I have no other good points unless you’re a hard left nutcase!), Clinton (I’m the Queen Bitch and if you don’t support me I will send you to the Gulag!), Romney (I’m not McCain!), and McCain (I’m like a wife beater, and you know you’re coming back to me!) would just keel over and die.
Were you hoping Bush would shoot for a third time, or were you just wishing for Rumsfeld or Cheney to make a run?

The national journal ranked Obama as the most liberal senator in 2007 and Clinton as the 16th. That means that he is 48 times more liberal than the average american! (Sorry, I learned maths at Conservapedia)

And in 2003, for some odd reason, they picked Senator Kerry. Hmm…

It’s because of their crappy algorithm, actually. Anyone who misses a lot of votes is likely to move far in one direction.

He wished death on them, so I figured he’s supporting Ron Paul.

Coulter is absolutely right, in her own ghoulish Coulter way. If McCain and Clinton are the two candidates, America has a choice between two moderate conservatives.

Can someone explain to me why the ultra-conservatives hate McCain so much? He’s pro-life, pro-war, against mandated universal health care, against gay marriage… how is he not conservative enough? Plus he’s an honest-to-God war hero. You’d think they’d be thrilled to come out of eight years of Bush with any kind of Republican candidate who could actually win a general election.
