Anna Nicoles will--where to probate?

Interesting.

That will is 6 years old, and several legally important events have happened since then:[ul]
[li]she got married.[/li][li]she had another child.[/li][li]her minor child (and sole heir) reached legal age.[/li][li]her minor child (and sole heir) died.[/li][/ul]

Yet no new will was written to cover any of these events. And it wouldn’t have been hard; her lawyer (now husband) was right there with her all the time. Surely they could have written up a new will. As a lawyer, he should have been aware of the importance of this. Is there a reason this lawyer-husband didn’t make sure she had a current will?

As it is, her will is pretty much irrelevant; it leaves everything to her son, who predeceased her. She might as well not have a will at all.

Howard K. Stern was not her husband; they never legally married. They had a “commitment ceremony”.
