Quite frankly I can’t remember how our policy has been enforced regarding promoting blog posts on an outside website. I’m leaning towards it not being allowed under the registration agreement. I am going to close this for now and see what others have to say about it.
As you can see under the no spam rule a very wide definition of spam is used. The post is promoting another website. There isn’t money involved but that is also spelled out in the rule. The bottom line is permission should have been asked prior to posting as per the Registration Agreement. With this thread we looked at it as if permission had been asked and no objections were raised. I am reopening the thread.
