i remember a long time ago about a annual cussing belching and spitting contest in what my memory recalls as being held in denver. the winner one year was “sp” harold “i live for filth” feldman. he won the belching with his famous wounded buffalo belch and won the cussing by cussing for about 12 minutes without a single repetition. does anybody remember anything about these events.

Unfortunately(or fortunately, depending on your point of view), the third one was the end, as groups of “mooners” did them in. They exposed themselves for the asses they were, I guess.
This reminds me of a similar contest in “The Brothers O’Toole”, a 1973 movie starring John Astin as con man Michael O’Toole; the contest was started to interfere with his scheming to capture the mineral wealth of Molybdenum, Colorado (pronounced “Molly-be damn” by the locals).
