Tennessee has a Senate election next cycle. The Tea Party should see if they can get this guy to primary Lamar Alexander.
I like this idea. If the Republicans do this often enough, they can Tea Party their way to a Democratic super-majority on the Senate.
The flaw in this plan is that Tennessee voters apparently like DesJarlais.
Maybe we’ll see if his popularity is state-wide. He only had to win a single Congressional district to get his current seat.
People in Todd Akin’s Congressional district apparently liked him as well, but it didn’t help him make it to the Senate.
The bar has not been lowered.
The pipe has been buried even deeper.
Hence the need for the abortions.
