D’oh. I feel like an idiot. I just looked at your website and found out you are a professional photographer. Well, at least I can recognize quality.

I was thinking the same thing. Forgot I’d actually looked at your time machine pics before.

I’ve posted this one before, and he’s not my cat anymore (he lives with Lute Skywatcher now), but here’s Nicky-in-a-crockpot.
It’s not a bowl, but it’s something round.

To take better photos of cats (and other animals, babies, etc) get down on their level. Look at the great black and white pictures of postcards’ cat. He/She’s down on their level, seeing as another cat would. And get CLOSE. Makes all the difference in the world.
Can I shamelessly post a photo of my ex-cat here? I say ex because, although she loved visiting, she was actually a neighbours cat and that neighbour has now moved. I really miss her.
That is a great pic, sandra_nz. Love it when the excessively dignified felines stop the aloof and bored act for awhile and flirt for ear scratchin’s.
postcards, that is a great pic, but how exactly do you convince the cat to “Be all sexy for the camera, Clark.”?
Hey Kalhoun- remember when I posted pics of the gray and black tortie kittens I was fostering? Well, I kept one. (Yeah, I know, we always swear we will not keep one) Mogi looks like your kittah, but she is all gangly and long legged now, so I’m really jealous of your lap full o’ kittens. I already miss how sweet and silly they are when they are schmall.
Ima go put coffee and cigarettes in Mogi’s bowl. Maybe I can stunt her growth before she gets all big and haughty.

They’re not in bowls or anything, but these are my cats

Beautiful cats, but what’s wrong with them that they don’t like bowls? Have you talked to a vet about this?

Here is our newest addition, not in a bowl but in our son’s arms…her name is “Dew” plus some others. She is just a little over 3 months old
badkitty, why are pretty Dew’s ears so wrinkly-crumply? Do you keep her stuffed in the couch cushions, or maybe in your purse? I am neither a vet, nor a beautician, buy maybe some starch or bobby pins would help.

They look fine to me.

Oh, I LOVE dat kidden! Looks just like little Echo! Yes, I agree…kiddens need to stay small. We have two smallies, but Echo is now more like a long, slinky cougar than a “pocket pal.”
And, we all must keep ALL kiddens…no matter what!!!

You know, now that you mention it, I don’t think we have any bowls around the house for them to get into (except the fruit bowl, and that always has fruit in it). Our girls are big, too (they’re both 12 pounders); they’re not getting into any little wussy bowls. Now you’ve got me thinking that I need to put out a cat bowl.
Kalhoun, the towels are in a closet, but the second I open that door, there’s a cat in there. Cats and closed doors - natural enemies.

We don’t know what’s up with her ear, she was like that when we found her. Vet didn’t comment on it and and it’s not scarred or tender.
