Another cat-in-a-bowl picture

We don’t know what’s up with her ear, she was like that when we found her. Vet didn’t comment on it and and it’s not scarred or tender.

And she won’t hold still long enough to iron it.

She has a great face- kind of pointy and Siamese. The ear just lends an air of dignity. I can’t help but love them more when they have a flaw or a boo boo. Every now and then the local shelter will post a photo in the paper of a dog or cat that has been injured or abused, or is otherwise handicapped, or something less than perfect. The shelter is subsequently flooded with offers to adopt, and usually flooded with donations, too. Such a nice side of human nature that we have compassion in reserves, and just the slightest tale of woe or misfortune will bring out the best in us.

Currently the Dane is limping around after taking a spill on the wet grass, and milking us for extra hugs and ear rubs. I think she has our number.
