Congrats to you!!! Here’s to a happy, healthy baby.
Congratulations! I’m glad the hosts of my first (and so far only) Dopefest have something to celebrate in November, whoever wins the election!
Way cool.
good wishes, good thoughts, prayers, etc.
I really like babies.
Tris
congratulations! i just had one too.
i love babies.
If you were around more, you could be Grandpa Tris.
Best offer I’ve had in years!
Trouble is, 'round is main way I’m getting, lately. I will hope to break loose for the first baby dopefest, though.
Tris
Wooohooo! Congrats!!! So when the baby gets it’s own screenname, will it be WeirdNorth?
Can I bring the mr. to a MADopefest after the little one arrives so that I can tempt him to have one of our own? Please?
Ava
If we’re gonna have a MADopefest for the express purpose of convincing our SOs that we need another baby, include me out!
Congratulations!!
What wonderful news - I really happy for you guys.
For those of you asking, I really have no intention of giving this baby a screen name or having it post. It’s been done, and although this child will have superior breeding, I’m sure it won’t be able to type for a few years yet.
‘Superior breeding’?
I thought s/he was only half Canadian.
That half can do a lot, you know.
Just think of how hard my half is gonna have to work to make up for it.
congrats.
babies rock.
Congrats! Happy dance!
I’m also due in November (more like end of, though - ~27th). Just got the second set of hCG quants back today, and the doubling looks nice and healthy. So, fingers crossed, this time I’ll actually end up seeing a cheeto in the ultrasound, too, if we opt for an early u/s. (I like the cheeto image - Brendan looked like a lima bean at this stage. But cheeto is so much cuter!)
I’ve had two due in the early Nov timeframe (one due Nov 1, born Nov 16, the other due Oct 29, and born on his due date, GASP!). So IMHO, both October and November are good. You won’t be too huge in August, which is a good thing, IMHO. And not too close to Christmas to have an annoyingly light birthday party every year.
So, how ya feeling? (I’m kinda green all day long, but no real yooking so far…)
Exhausted, and queasy all the time. ALL the time.
I know this looks like a bump, but I seriously forgot. Here’s a picture of the cheeto baby, so you know I’m not makin’ it up. It really resembles a cheeto!
Congradulations!!!
Gorgon and I are so happy for the two of you.
I think you and Dave should get the cheeto a pair of orange converse! Then you can bronze them later!!!
Congrats! Wonderful news! Enjoy the next few months of eating whatever the hell you’d like. (usually…)
Catch up on your sleep now… I guess I speak from authority now – this first week of sleep deprivation has taken a good chunk off of my life, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Edweeeeeeeno, you silly. I have been through this all before, so I know what to look forward to. I don’t think I slept until the (now ten-year-old) boy was four.
