Another example of teabagger classiness

Knock yourself out.

Reportedly a Republican lawmaker shouted “Baby killer” at Bart Stupak while he was speaking.

Yeah, it’s really fucking unfair to tarnish the Republican party with the bad deeds of the few assholes among them.

ETA: If you think it’s wrong, quit defending them and put your party in order. Otherwise, have a big steaming cup of shut the fuck up.

In fact, in the post you quoted, it is clearly stated that joebuck20 is referring to “some of these assholes.” Not all of the assholes, only some.

Who’s defending them?

The question is who in those crowds ever rebukes them?

Fair point. How about “Quit pretending that there is no problem”? There are myriad examples of absolute crazy fucknuts being rife, legion even, among the Republican party. Yet, whenever that point is made, people, including yourself, start up the counter argument “But they’re not the face of the Republican party.”

As I always say, it’s really hard to see the face of the Republican party because the crazy ass fucknuts are all in the way.

If you spent less time arguing against the proposition that these people in fact do represent a meaningful proportion, I might buy that they were not welcome or representative. Arguing otherwise is like arguing that Fox News is fair and balanced.

Apparently, members of the Texas delegation:

I disagree - what you see is the face of the party, pretty much by definition. It’s really hard to see what intelligent conservatives want the face of the party to be, because they’ve been pushed aside by the crazy fucknuts.

If the Republican party wants to put a different face forward, it’s up to them to do it.

FFS, guys it’s not so hard–I’ve been telling radical tree spiking eco-activists and fucking PETA types to stop being on my side for years. Repeat after me, “We do not need the crazy people. Crazy people are crazy. We do not need to defend them just because they’re kinda on our side.” Crazy fucksticks of every stripe and description are useless and are nothing but sand in the world’s vagina. Douche 'em out, flush 'em and get on with figuring out how the grownups are gonna handle the fucking messes we’re in. Jesus, this is NOT rocket science.

I can’t help but wonder how many knuckledragging racists have to be in the Republican party before they become representative of the Republican party? A simple majority? A plurality? When does this mythical vote occur?

Maybe when they can’t disagree with Rush without getting shouted down? How many Republicans have the guts to call this stuff unacceptable?

Well, at least we now know what the Klan looks like without the hoods.

Much of this reminds me of the echoes of the symbiotic relationships with the White Citizens Council and the KKK.

As for the gun signs (“If Brown Can’t Stop it Browning Can” and the like), who the fuck are they advocating shooting exactly? Doctors? Those covered by insurance? To paraphrase a famous quote, “It ain’t that it don’t make good sense, it don’t even make good nonsense!”

It’s amazing to me how many dyed-in-the-wool racists and neo-Nazis and Aryans and their ilk you can have on your side while still denying that your platform is racist or neo-Nazi.

What strikes me most is that these rabbles are being roused, they are being played. They are just ig’n’nt enough to believe they are expressing their own opinion, when in fact they are being sent into an irrational emotional state by others (right-wing media, and elected representatives). They are just tools.

You can always count on Steve King to be the voice of compassion and leadership condemning the actions of those ‘few people’ who may or not be representative of the Republican party…

said King.

Yes I can see why the capitol building should be one of those places…

But the Republican platform isn’t racist or neo-Nazi: see for yourself, especially this part.

That’s the beauty of the extremist-wooing strategy: they maintain a respectable official identity so they don’t repel principled conservatives, while strategically wink-wink-nudge-nudging the crazies to insinuate “we’re REALLY on your side”.

Word. I’m picturing Joe Teabag in his doctor’s office shortly after he’s been diagnosed with a long-term health problem:

“Well Mr. Teabag, the good news is that this condition is usually quite manageable with continued treatment. And because of the new anti-rescission provisions, you’ll be able to continue on your current health insurance plan, which will fully cover—”

“OH YEAH?!!?? WE’LL FUCKING SEE ABOUT THAT!!!” (BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM) “TAKE THAT, YOU GODDAMN COMMIES!! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAA!!!”

Of course, Mr. Teabag’s insurance carrier will be able to drop his coverage while he’s serving twenty to thirty in the Big House, but ironically, he’ll then have Uncle Sam paying for his healthcare directly. Out of the HCR frying-pan into the single-payer fire, as it were.

Sorry, but that excuse became invalid about 10 stupid acts or so ago. The real question is “Who’s job is it to put a stop to their crap?”
Here’s a hint, btw: It’s not my living room they’re taking a crap in.

What is the title of this thread?

I’m with Clothy. I see ***no ***examples of teabaggers being classy.

Says the man who’s pretty much sole contributions to this board are anti-liberal diatribes.

One thing I’ve noticed from lurking on right-wing forums is that they tend to eat their own. If anyone, even someone who is ridiculously right-wing, advocates moderation in any subject, he is immediately labeled a Liberal. There Are No True Conservatives.

It’s like the Conservatives are imploding.
