Obama. Just as the nutty right kept saying that Clinton should be assassinated back when he was in office ( “Where’s Lee Harvey Oswald When We Need Him?”, to quote one bumpersticker back then ).
Why don’t you show us some examples of teabaggers shouting down these racist assholes at the rallies?
No, that’s not saying that all teabaggers are un-classy. It’s just saying that teabaggers at present are plagued by some pretty numerous and glaring examples of un-classiness.
He would, but the liberal media refuses to report on that aspect. Also not reported on, yet frequently occurring at Teabagging parties: saving of drowning puppies; babies giggling; money given to charities; general volunteering and unselfishness; kitten piles for the poor.
It’s all there, you just have to know where to look.
Damn that liberal FOX media!!
My kitten had piles once. Yowled like hell until the vet put some Prep H on 'em.
Since you are the one who claims it is there, would you be so kind as to point us clueless people to some examples?
And the sound of whooshing was heard across the land…
Here’s another fabulous tidbit–Pastor Wiley Drake is calling for the death of all Democrats who voted for the HCR bill via targeted prayer. But it’s us eeeeeevil lib’rals who’ve lowered the tone of the discourse in this country. Nice. :dubious:
Is it really so wrong to want people dead when they actually have tried to- hard to believe it’s even possible there are such people- reform health care and provide better coverage to the poor and unemployed?
Would Jesus want those who are sick and not rich to have decent quality health care if it meant others would have to chip in? I think not. Otherwise why would He have healed them? It was His way of saying “Enough of your ‘I"ve got a pre-existing condition’ ‘I can’t work because I’m bliiiiiind’ wah wah wah’ whining, now you’re healthy so quit your bitching and get to work!” and I think that’s the attitude He would want us to take. Except for the healing part, which is best left up to hospitals fueled by private insurance companies with policies for those who are gainfully employed. (And that whole part about “If you have two coats give one to the poor” is so obviously tongue in cheek how can some people not get it?)

I can’t even imagine what Republicans would be saying about a well-known liberal/Democratic religious leader who urged his/her followers to pray for the deaths of political opponents and gloated over serious injury to their families.
He also praised the murder of Dr. Tiller (the abortionist), claiming “This man, George Tiller, was far greater in his atrocities than Adolf Hitler.” (Many cites). On scale of atrocities evidently disenfranchising millions of Jews and systematically murdering most of them and causing a war in which so many others were killed that you can’t even estimate within a million the number is nowhere near as bad as ending unwanted pregnancies- or at least unwanted American pregnancies I suppose.
And less it be thought that Wiley Drake is just some lunatic crank with a storefront church, he’s a former VP (2006-2007) of the Southern Baptist Convention which has 16 million members and is bigger by far in most southern states than any other church. Wiley himself is in California though he is from Arkansas.
So Clothahump? Does Fuckhead Drake speak for you or not? If not, have you put 1/10th the effort you put into stopping the evil of health insurance reform into telling anyone that he doesn’t speak for you? If not, then SHUT THE FUCK UP and admit that he does speak for you and deal with the consequences like a man.
Perhaps that’s more or less right, but I can see where Clothahump would be a tad bothered by overgeneralization. From what I can recall, while he certainly adheres to “tea party” principles, he’s also given indications that he’s decidedly not racist.
So, even if racism is a majority sentiment among tea partiers, he’s right to object if it doesn’t apply to him.
The work of Tiller is more nuanced than that- his specialty was in very difficult late-term abortions where the mother’s health was at risk. Only one clinic in the country now does these- Boulder Abortion Clinic. Esquire had a great article on this.

That’s the clinic at which I used to work. I thought I had started a thread a while back called “Ask the former abortion clinic worker” but I can’t find it on search. And yes, we did third-trimester abortions - under very specific, very controlled circumstances. Women couldn’t just walk in and say “oh, hey, lalala, I decided I don’t want to give birth tomorrow, kill my baby please.”
I interpreted that as a call for violence against members of Congress.
What about spaghetti dinners for welfare moms with lukemia?

It would help if your media mouthpieces weren’t Rush, Beck and Coulter.
Nobody can convince me that teabaggers don’t fucking suck.
You know, at these rallies they have all kinds of police watching these assholes … would it be so hard for a gun to go off “by accident?” Drop one of these little nazis and they’ll scurry back into their holes.
