LurkMeister, hold the button down to cock your arm back, then release to throw. Hit the button the first time around when the spear tip is right under the tree next to the hut.

Since we couldn’t seem to get any higher than that my friend and I decided to see who could get the shortest spear toss. Not as easy as it sounds. The default distance is 0.02 so that does’t count as going across the foul line. My shortest toss:
