Another 'I'm not' Gay Republican Goes Down for the Count

Another one!! Hahahahahahahaaaaa!!! When, oh, when will the hilarity ever end? Ow, my side! Heheh.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Republican. Read more about the hijinks here

Mods, I placed this here because I’m sure someone will once again attempt to justify the avalanche of opening closets careening like juggernauts down the Mount Everest of the hypocritical blackened souls of self-loathing Gay conservatives. Feel free to move at will.

Relevant cartoon.

This belongs in the Pit, if you ask me.

Hey, just because he cruises adult video stores for men and then has wild sex with them in a hotel room doesn’t mean he’s gay. Only Democrats are gay, it’s right there in the bible!

What’s Curtis’s record on gay rights on gay rights issue?

Mr. Moto?

Well, from this report … not so good.

Just what you’d expect.

Does the Count return the favor?

If I were one of the 24%, or 29%, or whatevertheheck the percentage of cool-aid drinkers that still cling, like their mortal souls depend on it, to the Republican party’s bastardization of conservatism, I’d be freaking the heck out about now.

And this is yet another reason why I’ve come to view the conservatives as the “Do as I say, not as I do” party. I don’t mind gay politicians- what I do mind is hypocritical politicians.

Dude, don’t turn your back on the Republican party!

No, seriously, don’t turn your back on them.

I’m not at all surprised; in fact I think it’s cause and effect. The Republican party, as the haven of homophobia, attracts and promotes those that condemn homosexuality the loudest. Which will quite often be self hating/denying gays. If one had a gay-detecter, I think that you’d find that there are quite a few more gay Republican leaders than gay Democratic leaders. And you’d find more gay “family values” Republicans than, say, gay fiscal conservatives.

This, in my opinion, is indicative of the warped mindset of folks who not only believe the ridiculous notion that Gayness can be cured, are able to deny, with a straight face, their own homosexual proclivities, but relish castigating, condemning, and denying equal rights to those who are comfortable with their sexuality and are not ashamed to express it.

Perhaps if social conservatives didn’t spend so much time exhibiting hatred toward anyone they perceive as different, overcompensating in their repression of their innermost desires, they wouldn’t be seen as the hypocrites they’ve quickly become.

Conservatism is not a party. The Republicans, erstwhile conservatives but in fact nothing of the sort, are a party.

Thank you.

Are you suggesting these recently outed “I’m not” gay Pubs are not True Scotsmen?

If you wouldn’t call Republicans conservatives at least in social issues, I’m afraid of what you WOULD call conservative. I mean, what do you want them to do, man?

If this were a soap opera then we’d have long since passed any believability and be crying “Overkill! Not all homophobic conservative public figures are closet gays!”

I’ve lost count. Let’s see

Mark Foley
Ted Haggard
John Paulk
Larry Craig
Jim Bakker (not proven- lots of accusations, though)
Rep. Allen (?)- the FL guy who offered to blow black men in a restroom because he said he was afraid of them)
Jeff Gannon
Matt Sanchez

How many others are there? These were off the top of my head.

double post

Sen. Lindsey Graham is sending out some serious vibes.
