Not journalists, at any rate.
I wouldn’t be too sure. In 15-25 years the kid may wonder who mommy and daddy were, find out what they did, ask why, and might sympathize. Blood is a strong bond.
Except since being Jewish is an ethnicity, what would you call someone who is Jewish and practices the beliefs of Christianity? (no, this isn’t the set-up for a punchline :p) Christian Jew? Point is they still retain their ethnicity.
How do you know he is an ethnic Jew?

The reporter in question says that it wasn’t a popsicle, but a screwdriver that he was using to help the landlord remove the boards.
Could it be that the criminals are dead and there wont be a trial? They took what they needed to defend us that they were indeed terrorists and or the true criminals?
Priorities straight?
Um yeah no one lies… :dubious:
Guaranteed! If the creeps are not out of control by then, its not the blood, its the ideology, isnt it?
This to me is my main worry about any further large scale Muslim immigration into the West. We keep hearing about ISIS cells amongst these immigrants, and that is a legitimate enough concern. However, an even greater concern for me is the possible radicalisation of 2nd generation Muslims. It’s a problem we already see in places such as France.
The thing is, in this case, the guy was born here and his wife came here on a spouse visa or something similar. I think the radicalization of a citizen here is more worrisome than refugees.
What does this mean?
Maybe. barring any evidence of that I’m thinking they left a lot stuff behind. It’s not like the terrorists kept everything in a binder marked “clues”.

Not secured at all. Crossing that tape could get you a trespassing or obstruction charge but that isn’t helping the case. Any further evidence that might be found later would be tainted by the fact that the scene was not secured. Case law might vary from state to state but here if you gave up custody of the location if you wanted to go back in you would have to get another search warrant.
In reality I’m not seeing a huge deal here. It’s an apartment. It doesn’t take much time to search it. They are not trying to build a case. The case is already exceptionally cleared because the suspects are dead. It was more like an intelligence gathering mission to determine other’s involvement. Why would they need to take the mother’s drivers license? Maybe they released it too quick. Maybe not. But the assumption that they needed to take every scrap out of the apartment is ridiculous. What would be accomplished?
The FBI apparently raided the house next door today, belonging to (or at least rented by) Farook’s former roommate, who bought the two long rifles for him. The inhabitant thereof is not at home, having checked himself into a mental hospital on the day of the massacre.
Jesus.
Is that a cover up, or serious? :dubious:
It’s not unbelievable that he might have had an adverse reaction to discovering he inadvertently helped his flatmate kill 14 innocent people.
Indeed, that is why I asked the rhetorical question.
Ooooooh, what an orgasmically righteous day it must have been for the N.R.A.
Many soft targets successfully eliminated. Many injuries successfully delivered.
2nd Amendment Rights successfully exercised. Zero changes in legislation or ease of access. Business as usual. Rivers of blood.
Gosh, the members throughout the land must just be so very very proud of everything this organization stands for.
I would dismiss your attitude as simply bizarre and shitty if I didn’t see that sentiment come up so often. Do you sincerely believe that people who advocate for second amendment rights are actively rooting for mass shootings and cheer them on?
I’ve seen quite the oposite - the people who seem to get super excited for these shootings are the ones who love to get any chance to be condescending towards gun owners.
This is essentially what you sound like to me: “Oh, you fourth amendment supporters must be really excited. A truck bomb went off again. IF police could search anything they wanted for any reason, these things wouldn’t happen. But your precious privacy killed people again. Another success for the ACLU. You must be very proud”
Edit: Except what I said is more obviously sarcastic. You seem to sincerely believe that gun owners root for mass shootings, which makes about as much sense as ACLU-supporters rooting for terrorism or criminals going free on a technicality.
Here’s one who isn’t so proud.
