Ooooh Elen she’s beeyouteeful! I have a corgi, so I completely understand herding dog behavior and physique. My girl is in very good shape for a corgi. They get fat really easily but she’s all muscle. Can’t wait to meet Zappy and get all mooshy with her after lunch.

Allrighty MinneDopers, the section we ended up in last time will be reserved for us, for noon. It’s an area of four tables directly to the left of the entrance. I’ll try to be there a little early with the little SDMB sign I made for the last DopeLunch.
It will be very busy at noon. When you arrive, my suggestion would be to get in line right away to order your food, then come to our section with your “number-on-a-stick.” The waitstaff will bring the food to your table.

Maybe it’s good thing I’m not going as I have been out of it the past few days, we’d start driving and end up in Yankton, SD, or something.
Oh, bummer, man! I just noticed this. Sigh. Count me for the next one, though.
I wasn’t in the area, after all. I’ve got a lot of packing to do, because I am moving to Minneapolis in 2 weeks. So I’ll come to the next one.

See, I didn’t know how to get from my parking ramp to the restaurant, so I followed a really nice woman who just happened to be meeting a friend for lunch at the very same restaurant. So I followed her from the parking ramp to the building where her friend worked to Marketplace. So far so good. Nurse Carmen was so kind and actually pointed out LaSalle Plaza so I got back to where the really nice woman met her friend. And I managed to get up the elevator to the skyway. And then…um…I kinda forgot how I got from there to the actual parking ramp. Lucky for me (after half an hour of wandering around feeling pretty damn stupid) another very nice person (the guy at the security desk at LaSalle Plaza - anyone have a telephone number for that place?) helped me figure out where I parked so I could actually make it back up here. Yay!
Anywho. Lunch was grand, and it was great catching up with y’all again. NurseCarmen, if you promise not to bail AGAIN I promise (as long as grampa doesn’t kick off between now and then) that I will hold VikingDope III up here come fall.
Those skyways can be treacherous chique. One frequently encounters the bodies of unfortunates who died of exhaustion/despair trying to locate their building/car/Starbucks. I’ll bet if you did a search in google for LaSalle Plaza MN you could find a contact number for them.
