MarketPlace is located at 1070 Nicollet Mall, the corner of 11th Street and Nicollet Mall, downtown Minneapolis.
I shall write to those who have attended or threatened to attend in the past… In addition, I will arrive at the location a little early with a sign for the table that is located just inside the doors, to the left.
No, honest, it does. The light rail has that annoying electronic bell which cuts out mid-clang without even a fading echo. I’m gonna put a penny on the tracks someday, I swear.
The Target Boutique (aka: Downtown Target) has a ramp that’s pretty easy to get to. It’s in between 9th and 10th and Nicollet and Marquette. The downtown Target is about two blocks from the MarketPlace.
If you spend twenty bucks at Target, parking is free. Most humans find it impossible to spend less than $100 bucks at Target. I’ll be parking there, so if you’re unwilling to donate your funds to Target Corp., I’m sure I could break up my bill into two and get two parking vouchers.
Be careful, the original, and more famous Marketplace is at 700 Nicollet, between 7th and 8th. The one you want is between 10th and 11th. Most of us don’t bite. And the one time dogs showed up, they didn’t either.
Yeah, but we aren’t new people, we’re Dopers! Seriously, pick a few names from the thread and do a search. Read a few threads started by us, or that we’ve contributed to. You’ll feel that you know us better than you know yourself.
I’m not going to get into the issue of whether we (as a group) are scary or not, but I’m universally adored by all who meet me, and Ellen is bringing a puppy. What more do you need?
Apparently my boss has been conspiring with my insecurities. I now have a lunch meeting in the office on Friday the 1st. And here I had pretty much talked myself into going. Oh well. Pet the service puppy for me.
