Why the hell is the world’s most famous longbowman using a recurve bow?

For some reason, that’s the thing that bugs me the most.

It also has the draw weight of a toy bow with an elastic band.

Crazy-ass anachronisms didn’t hurt Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, but Robin Hood’s lead actor is generating too many megasmarms for my taste.

A Knight’s Tale was another movie that had anachronisms (mostly in the songs and dancing) but it worked.

H&G:WH is like the modern “Riverdale” series.

AKT plays it well, not being really serious about it.
